Planned Parenthood and NOW, Run for the Hills
Mood:  celebratory
Topic: Politics
One piece of news really raised eyebrows this past week and had many on the left in a downright tizzy. Just recently, South Dakota passed a ban on all abortion procedures in the state. The only exception made was for the life (not health) of the mother. The left is saying this is merely an orchestrated effort by the conservatives to get Roe v. Wade overturned. Its so seldom I get to say this but theyre correct.

This bill was passed purely so the state would be taken to court and the case could work its way to the Supreme Court. However, its interesting to note that, while the state house sponsor was a Republican the state senate co-sponsor was a Democrat. Im going to address Democrat involvement in this a little later but for now lets stick to the bill.

Now that it has been passed all the remains to be done to make this the first state to ban abortion since the fall out of Roe is for the Governor of South Dakota, Mike Rounds, a Republican, to sign it into law. So far the Governor has indicated that he has every intention to do so.

Planned Parenthood Federation of American stated on their website:

Anti-choice forces in South Dakota are on a mission to make the state the most hostile to reproductive rights in the country. And sadly, as a recent state task force on abortion revealed, they are not too far from reaching that goal.

They further stated:

There are people in the legislature who would have a dream that South Dakota brings the ultimate case that overturns Roe v. Wade, says (Maria ) Bell. In fact, earlier this year, Governor Rounds said that he wanted to see the decision overturned and expressed eagerness to get legislation in place that could successfully challenge it.

The mere fact that Planned Parenthood is getting nervous is enough to make me giddy. These fema-nazis have gotten there way, making up so-called right, for far to long. They often like to call it Reproductive Rights. Well, I guess Hitler and Stalin could have just called the Holocaust and Pogroms population control but it still doesnt make it right.

This fabricated right is responsible for more lost lives than the Holocaust. The right to choose is really nothing less than a copout for women who dont want to take responsibility for their own actions. Planned Parenthood loves to attack Gov. Rounds because he has had the chutzpah and honesty from the very beginning to say that he would like to see Roe overturned. Im really not sure what the liberals are more angry about; the fact that Gov. Rounds is opposed to abortion or perhaps because he dares to be honest, something they had never thought of.

Dont think that merely because a Democrat co-sponsored this bill they are moving to the center. This current Democratic party is firmly on the left. All that we see happening by the Democrats (especially Hillary) is an attempt to appear moderate for upcoming elections. This ban may force them to retreat from strategy as their liberal bases rears its very ugly (thinking of Gloria Steinem) head.

With this new Supreme Court we may have a chance at seeing a true, modern days Civil Rights (of the unborn) fight come out victorious. Keep praying. Keep hoping and keep kick liberal asses.

Carter, Muhammad & Liberalism - Terrorism in all its forms.
Mood:  loud
Topic: Politics
If you had the feeling that the partisan tone couldn’t get any worse you would have been wrong. I’ve held off a few weeks to respond to much of this, but what can I say, I enjoy a good show.

Issue one is Coretta Scott Kings funeral. As the first lady of the Civil Rights movement she deserved a funeral fitting a place in history. What she got was nothing less than a Democratic Parade and Bush-Bashing festival. The President and his father showed great courage coming to an event that they knew could turn hostile. However what came about was more repulsive than I’m sure they had counted on.

Rev. Lowery made a pathetic anti-war speech. I can’t say that I really expected any better from the gentleman. Over the years most of these, so called Civil Rights leaders have fallen prey to the b.s flowing from the Democratic party. I’m really not sure why I was surprised by Carters comments. While trying to link the current “wire-tapping scandal” to the wire-tapping that took placing during the active days of the Movement he failed to mention that the tap on Martin and Coretta King was approved by the Democratic golden boys, Kennedy brothers John and Robert. I guess that just slipped his growingly senile mind.

Issue two is this lovely Muhammad cartoon scandal. As if we didn’t have enough proof that this “religion of peace” rhetoric was a load of crap, on come the riots. Its makes perfect sense that the Muslim reaction to some saying they arent a religion of peace is to burn buildings, murder and, of course attack the Jews. Of course, the American press has fallen prey to the disease of political correctness and most have refused to show them. I guess we are just supposed to take the New York Times word that they are offensive. Well the New York Times should know about offensive. After all, they were happy to show the image known as the “Piss Christ” and an image of the Virgin Mary covered in dung.

Now many in the Islamic world are calling for continuing violence and cartoons about the holocaust. I have no idea why I didnt like them. You liberals must have been right; they really are peace loving individuals (sarcasm). I love that its not politically incorrect to say that Muslims are violent terrorist and procedures which involve ripping an un-born child to pieces must be referred to as the “right to choose,” however its perfectly fine to call devoted Christians bigots, fanatics, and fundamentalist. To listen to the Democrats you would think evangelicals and Republicans flew those planes into the World Trade Center, Pentagon and Pennsylvania field.

For once why dont we learn to call things as they are. Im going to go out on a limb here and do something that those in politics seldom do; tell the truth. Muslims are terrorist. Those that arent directly involved in the terrorist activity are supporting it. There is only one way to bring peace to the Islamic world. A. Convert them all to Christianity or B. Bomb the hell out of them.

Continuing on this honesty kick: Abortion is murder. It doesn't matter what your reason is it still wrong. Affirmative Action is racist. The ACLU should be added to the list of terrorist organizations, Hillary Clinton is evil and Teddy Kennedy is a fat ass drunk. I believe that pretty well covers it. If you have a problem with what I have said please email me. Ill use the emails in a later article to ridicule you. Thanks as always.

The Sanitization of Abortion
Mood:  quizzical
Topic: Politics
As most of your already know, I am a strong conservative Republican. Many democrats try to make it seem like we Republicans are rich cronies, looking only for another tax loophole. Nothing could be farther from the truth. I am your average, middle class guy, working hard to pay the bills.

The reason I am a Republican is because I will not leave my faith outside the voting booth. Even more so, I will not turn my back on our founding documents and the dreams of our founding fathers. One issues that always gets me overwrought is abortion. Democrats know that abortion is a procedure that the majority of Americans find grizzly. That is why they have sanitized it by calling it the right to choose. It isnt a right to choose. Its merely the right to take the easy way out and murder your child.

Lets look at what the right to choose really is. Its puncturing the head of a pre-born child and sucking its brain out. Once the skull has collapsed it is removed from the uterus. What is truly frightening is that is the more humane abortion practice. The others involved tearing the child limb from limb and removing it a piece at a time. Is this a right to be protected?

The architect of our government, Thomas Jefferson, wrote in the Declaration of Independence that we are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are LIFE, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. The right to life is paramount. Without the right to life none other exist. One will never vote, pay taxes, become clerics, become public servants or fall in love and have a family if their basic right to be born is not secured. The Democrats want us to protect the homeless, handicapped (both admirable), the promiscuous, atheist and homosexual but where is their compassion for the most vulnerable in our society.

Many in the Democratic party make a big deal about the life of the mother. I agree that when the life of the mother is at extreme risk, she should have options. However, medical reasons account for only seven percent of abortions. As a Jew I will not throw the term Holocaust around lightly, however that is the term that applies to this situation. Under Hitler six million Jews were murdered because of bigotry. Under Roe v. Wade (1973) more than forty-million children have been murdered merely for being an inconvenience. Sanitizing it by calling it a right to choose is an insult to the babies being murdered and the vision of our founding fathers. Until we reject our culture of death for a culture of life we will never live up to Ronald Reagans noble vision of a shining city up on a hill.

The Emperors New Cloths
Mood:  energetic
Topic: Politics
Am I the only one who has noticed that the liberals have totally lost their minds - along with any self-respect and dignity that they may have once had. Last years presidential election scared them to death because they put all they had into it and still lost pretty badly.

This past election was pretty cut and dry. We had a very liberal Kerry v. Bush; the social conservative. For some odd reason the Democrats thought the majority of Americans would support abortion, gay marriage, tax and spend politics, and a lack of respect for our troops over seas. They found that what Americans really support is the right to life, traditional values, fiscal responsibility and patriotism.

As I sit here in Virginia, watching - and actively participating in - this years Governors race I find it hard to stop the chuckles. We have Tim Kaine for the Democrats. Lt. Governor Kaine is the casebook example of a liberal but all of a sudden he is trying to show himself with a conservative twist. He says he can’t support the death penalty and is personally opposed to abortion because of his supposed faith but will support the law as it is if he were elected.

Will the voters of Virginia fall for Mr. Kaine’s little deceitful tactics? I don’t think so. Virginians aren’t the backwoods, un-educated idiots that liberal northern suburbanites would like the rest of the county to think we are.

Kaines record will destroy his candidacy. He says he will support the law as it is on the death penalty and abortion but is that what his record shows? As a lawyer he recommend a moratorium on the death penalty. As for abortion - what person can be spiritually opposed to it and still say they will support the law as it is? If its wrong its wrong and any politician who makes such a statement shows that he is lying somewhere. Either he a) supports abortion or he b) isn’t actually the good catholic he would have us believe. No good Catholic can turn a deaf ear to abortion. The Holy Father has made that clear.

He also claims to support the Second Amendment but his actions show otherwise. He was rated an “F” by the NRA in 2001. As mayor of Richmond he even proposed using city funds to transport anti-gun protestors to the “Million Mom March.” He only backed down from that idea under pressure from the city council.

Mr. Kaine, Virginians aren't that stupid. We know a Dean/Kerry liberal when we see one and come November we are going to elect a man who thinks and talks like the majority of us - Jerry Kilgore.

Democratic Dishonesty: Discrimination against Christians
Mood:  don't ask
Topic: Politics
At the moment the Senate Democrats are all up in a hissy. Why are they so angry at the Republican majority? The Republicans have asked the Democrats to do the most unthinkable thing possible. They have been asked to actually do there jobs.

We all know that Harry Reid is much too busy attacking Delay, Kerry is too busy licking his wounds, Kennedy is probably getting drunk and planning the next person he should hit and murder with his car and Libermann is still too busy fence sitting to be asked to do the job they were elected to do and vote. The filibuster is not a sacred senate tool. Even more importantly, this is not about ending all filibusters in the senate. This only deals with filibusters in regard to Senate confirmation of judicial nominees.

The U.S. Constitution grants the senate the right to advise and consent on a presidents judicial nominees. No one is saying Senate democrats should vote in favor of these nominees. That is a decision that they would have to make. However, the nominees have the right to an up or down vote. If they don’t want to see a particular judicial nominee approved then they should feel more than welcome to lobby their fellow senators to vote likewise. They should not, however be allowed to hijack the U.S. Senate and obstruct other members from voting.

The real question is why are they so opposed to these judicial nominees? I recently watched MoveOn PAC’s Virginia T.V. ad and they would have you believe its because they want to preserve minimum wage and the environment. You would have to be a complete idiot to believe that. Make no mistake, this is an attack on conservative Christians. They object to these nominees because of their strong Christian faith.

Janice Brown was appointed to the bench in California. California is perhaps one of the most liberal states in the union yet she was overwhelmingly reelected by the voters of that state. Now, Senate Democrats would have you believe that she is a radical conservative activist. Really? Then why did an area that is primarily democrat put her back in office?

MoveOn and the nutty Democrats that support them will (along with the ACLU) do anything they can to keep conservative Christians out of public office. That is what we are watching now. If you want to preserve this country for our children contact you Senators and tell them to vote to end the Judicial filibuster. This is not a matter of checks and balances. It’s a matter of upholding the U.S. Constitution and ending the democrats policy of discrimination against peoples of faith.

Judges Gone Wild
Mood:  not sure
Topic: Politics
There comes a time when it becomes obvious that we no longer have any control over our own judges. These un-elected dictators in black robes do as their own liberal agendas suit them. They feel no responsibility to you and I and lack the public review to keep them in line. There job is merely to interpret the Constitution, however based on many of their rulings one cant help but wonder if they have the same copy you and I have.

According to them women have the right to murder their own child in the womb, gay sexual relations and gay marriage are a protected right, porn is free speech, and a woman’s adulterous husband has the right to starve her to death against her true family’s wishes. What, according to them isn’t in compliance with the Constitution?

-Providing government funding to religious groups that provide much needed social programs.
-Protecting the life of the most defenseless American citizens.
-Denying privileges intended solely for U.S. citizens to illegals.
-Acknowledging the Christian roots of our society in any public manner, including the display of the Ten Commandments even though they grace the walls of the Supreme Court building.
-Allowing school children to recite a pledge that may instill patriotism because it includes the word “God.”
-Detaining terrorist found in the United States as enemy combatants.
-Refusing terrorist the right to access material which may endanger the life of American citizens.

What it really boils down to is that you can do anything you wish unless you don’t acknowledge God in any fashion. Christians are viewed by these nutty liberals and their cohorts as more dangerous than Osama and Islam. Muslims and Islam are to be viewed as peaceful while totally ignoring the fact that as much as 99% of all terrorism, world-wide is caused by the hands of Muslims. When will our elected leaders use their authority to take the U.S. back for the citizens? Governor Bush has the authority to save Terri Schiavo right now by bringing in the guard and placing her under protective custody however the liberal and their puppet Judges have scared him into inaction. We must remember that these judges aren’t infallible. It wasn’t so long ago the U.S. courts allowed the Jim Crow laws, segregation, and inequality of women to remain as perfectly constitutional.

If this country is to ever live up to its moral responsibilities and expectations we must first embrace a “culture of life,” and that will only happen when our elected leaders stop their obstructionism and allow the appointment of conservative, constitutionalist judges.

Hostile, Liberal Takeover
Mood:  not sure
Topic: Politics
If you didn’t already know that liberals are insane, the two news stories I heard this week would certainly show you. As the great Michael Savage says “Liberalism is a mental disease.” Liberals couldn’t win in the national election so they’re now trying to destroy this nation in other ways.

This week the court ruled that your children, living in your home and talking on the phone that you paid for have an “expectation of privacy.” Yes parents, according to this Judge you can’t legally eavesdrop on your children’s telephone conversations, even if you suspect they may be involved in illegal activity. This Judge has reduced parents to over-glorified landlords who don’t even have an “expectation of payment.” Here is a little idea for the government: If they want to be the parents let them pay the damn bills.

Soon you’ll have to let your fifteen year old daughter sleep with her boyfriend in your house because it is, after all her body. A parent has the responsibility to make sure their child is safe and these tyrannical idiots in black robes are trying to take that from you. In several states they have already ruled that you don’t have the right to even know when your underage daughter decides to have an abortion. Also, lets not forget the number of parents that are reported to social services and investigated merely due to the use of corporal punishment. What’s left? Now your punishment option is to politely tell the child “Don’t do that again or …..or….well just don’t do it.”

You would think that was the worst story however you’d be wrong. Recently a parent in Massachusetts (the nations insane asylum) was thrown from her child’s school because she objected to the school using instructional time to have a “Gay Awareness Day” presentation. The parent hadn’t acted up or cause any type of disturbance. She merely did as does at all school events, she recorded it. They asked her to turn off the camera and leave the school. Not wanting to create a ruckus, she complied. However, the parent being asked to leave a school function which she has every right to attend isn’t the problem.

What was the school thinking. School is a place to learn the three r’s, not Debauchery 101. Students weren’t required to attend however the day was wasted on education because no classes took place. Instead, students could spend the day in workshops learning about the “plight” of the queer (they used that term on the schools website so why should I) in America. The website stated that there was a special workshop to talk about the discrimination that homosexuals face in American society. I normally wouldn’t spend so much time on this one subject however I find it so absurd that it must be exposed. Below is a list of the various events of the day:

B Block - A Day in the Life - This event essentially speaks of how complicated life is for the gay teen.

C Block - Students “Speakout” - original works by students about “GLBT” issues.

D Block - Life Outside the Gender Norm - This section speaks of “Gender Identity,” which is just a nice way of saying Cross Dressing Freak.

E Block - Out at the Old Ballgame - This presentation was about what its like to be a homosexual in the in a sports environment. I find it comical that they felt the need to devote an entire block to this one aspect.

F Block - Family Matters - This section probably interest me most. It discusses the legal “obstacles queer families face.” This may be most interesting in that it placed the school in a direct position against Christianity and traditional views. They were no longer just giving the general “Its okay to be gay” message. They crossed over to take a position against the creation of a federal marriage amendment and against the intuition of marriage as we currently know it. It was a ploy to make sure that these children grow up to be liberal democrats.

F Block - GBLT What’s in a name? - It specifies that in this forum they will discuss what homophobia and “hetrosexism” are. I wish I could have attended because I’m not familiar with the term “hetrosexism.” Homophobe is a favorite slur of the left. They liberally, no pun intended, apply it to anyone who defends traditional values.

I don’t hate or fear homosexuals but I also don’t believe gays should be allowed to have sanctioned marriages/civil unions or indoctrinate our children with anti-Christian, anti-Traditionalist and obviously pro-Liberal Democrat views. This nations was founded on Christian values and it was our founders vision that we continue in that path. We should unapologetically follow the path that they set us on.

G Block - Color Me Queer - This was merely a panel discussion about the topics they brought up earlier. One thing does pop out at me while reading this title; why is it okay for them to call themselves Queers but when I use the term I’m immediately attacked? I’ll leave that question open for you all.

To wrap everything together these latest events, along with the attack on Christmas show that the liberal left are now grasping at straws. There has been a great deal of talk about what the Democratic party can do to repair itself. I refuse to be involved in that discussion merely because I am perfectly satisfied watching the Democrats disintegrate. They are falling apart and it should be amusing to see where they are in 2008.

To Those that Hate Me
Mood:  cheeky
Topic: Politics
The local news paper has allowed several people over the previous weeks to bash me in there paper. The following article is my short response to those letters. (The Local paper has refused to print this article claiming that the subject has already been exhausted. As of February 22, 2005 the article has yet to be printed. )

Over the past couple of weeks there have been many letters speaking of me, either by referring to the idea’s espoused in my previous letters or mentioning me by name. I wish to assure you all that I impenitently stand by my previous statements. One can no more be a faithful Christian while voting for the current Democratic leadership than to be a self respecting black man voting for David Duke.

Some have indirectly called me “morally, ethically and religiously irresponsible.” To those individuals I say that it is more irresponsible to cling to religious and moral values and also vote for individuals that will oppose those values every step of the way. At least I have the chutzpah to stand by my values when others don’t.

To those of you who contend to be Christians and voted Democrat, while knowing the party’s stand on moral issues I say shame on you. One of the letters stated that there were issues other than abortion and that is, of course true. However, to place higher importance on taxes than on human life is akin to selling Christ for thirty pieces of silver all over again. Being a Christian is not a cloak to wear when times are rough and toss aside when convenient.

A short note about our former President Clinton. It was said that he straightened our Bush Sr.’s mess, and gave us a surplus. High praises are certainly due to a man who lied under oath, exposed himself to a number of women, promoted abortion and the gay lifestyle, and also had the astuteness to turn down Osama (even then known as a terrorist responsible for the first Trade Center bombing and a couple of embassy bombings), who would later murder a couple thousand people on U.S. soil.

I end with one quote: “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” Isaiah 5:20
